Tynan Motors Officially Launches Tynan Motors Geely Sutherland as Geely Australia Celebrates 10,000 Deliveries

Tynan Motors proudly celebrated the official showroom launch of Tynan Motors Geely Sutherland alongside a major milestone for Geely Auto Australia — achieving 10,000 customer vehicle deliveries nationwide in just 14 months.

The milestone event marked an exciting moment for both the Geely brand and the Tynan Motors family, highlighting the rapid growth and strong customer demand for Geely’s innovative range of new energy vehicles across Australia.

To commemorate the occasion, Tynan Motors welcomed key Geely Auto Australia executives including CEO Alex Gu and Sales Director Jason Wang, who joined Tynan Motors CEO Daniel Tynan and Director Madeline Tynan for the official celebrations at the new Tynan Motors Geely Sutherland showroom.

Geely Auto Australia reached its first 5,000 deliveries within nine months of launching locally before doubling that figure in less than five months — a remarkable achievement that reflects the increasing popularity of the Geely brand among Australian drivers.

The Geely EX5 has quickly become one of Australia’s leading battery electric vehicles, ranking as the second best-selling EV in April, while the Starray EM-i secured its place as the third best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle nationally.

The brand’s 10,000th Australian delivery was handed over to Sydney customer Elizabeth Cayless, who took ownership of a Geely EX5 Inspire in Jungle Green for her family.

Geely Auto Australia CEO Alex Gu said the milestone represents the brand’s growing momentum and strong connection with Australian consumers.

“Reaching 10,000 deliveries in just 14 months is a significant milestone for Geely in Australia. It is a testament to the hard work of the entire Geely Auto team, providing Australian consumers with high-quality new energy vehicles that deliver accessible, value-driven mobility,” Mr Gu said.

The opening of Tynan Motors Geely Sutherland further strengthens Geely Auto Australia’s expanding national network, which now includes more than 60 locations across the country.

Daniel Tynan said the launch was an exciting step forward for Tynan Motors and the local Sutherland Shire community.
