The Tynan MG family has a new "Kissing Cousin"

Colin Stacey of our Tynan Motors Sutherland team has a rare MG Gilbern which has been in his family for 45 years.

Colin imported the car from England when he and his family migrated nearly 40 years ago. Originally from London, Colin has restored the car here in Sydney and it is now resplendent in Italian Racing Red. Racing Red is about as close to actually racing as it gets says Colin because whilst lively and fun to drive, motion is pure M.G.B. which anoraks among you will know to be an 1800cc pushrod producing 95 bhp ---- far from today's heady power outputs but not bad for a 70-year-old design .................and it's still going strong!

Colin is a member of the MG Car Club and has given talks on the car at their official meetings. Photographs show the pretty 1950 period lines of this little old MG with its new all leather (yes, the real animal stuff) and new interior fit out.

Colin is available to show the car to interested colleagues and to show it at any fund-raising or charitable events. "Keep it in the family " says Colin's because this little gem is a piece of MG motoring history.
