He expressed confidence in hitting the 90,000 target, citing both the EV3 and the upcoming Kia Tasman ute as key drivers of the brand’s performance in the second half of the year.

“I think that we’re well in line to do 90,000 this year,” Meredith stated. “There’s a lot of uncertainty in the world, but as a country, we seem to have a great ability to keep things on an even keel.”

This optimism is supported by forecasts of a strong automotive market, with overall industry sales expected to hit between 1.0 million and 1.1 million vehicles in 2025.
