Jeep Goes Wild with Seven New Concepts at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari
It’s that time of year again—Jeep fans are heading to Moab, Utah, for the legendary Easter Jeep Safari, and the brand has brought the goods. Celebrating its 59th year, the 2025 event features seven fresh, wild, and wonderfully offbeat concepts based on the Wrangler and Gladiator platforms. And as always, it’s all about showcasing the latest in Jeep Performance Parts (JPP), straight from the Mopar skunkworks.
From overland-ready beasts to retro throwbacks, here’s a closer look at what Jeep’s dreaming up for your next off-road adventure.
🔄 Jeep Rewind Concept
Talk about a time warp. The Rewind dives headfirst into late-’80s nostalgia with a purple paint job, pink and turquoise graphics, and ‘telephone dial’ 17-inch alloys. Based on a short-wheelbase Wrangler, it’s as much a tribute to neon-era flair as it is to old-school Jeep capability.
🐞 Jeep Bug Out 4xe Concept
Built for minimalists and off-grid overlanders, the Bug Out is a two-door Gladiator with a serious attitude. Matte silver paint, yellow accents, and no windows give it a raw, utilitarian vibe. A four-inch lift, steel bumpers, custom half doors, 37-inch tyres, and a hammock-ready tray round out this backcountry-ready brute.
☀️ Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon Sunchaser
The Sunchaser is tailor-made for those chasing sunsets and off-road escapes. It boasts rear panniers, roof rack, a pivoting LED light bar, and 37-inch all-terrains. Two-tone leather seats and an upscale interior mean you won’t be roughing it, even on the roughest terrain.
🚛 Jeep Convoy Concept
Meet the coolest retro ride in the bunch. The Convoy pays homage to the classic 1963 Gladiator SJ with vintage styling, canvas canopy, and a ‘Ghost Ops’ paint job. Underneath, it’s all modern muscle with a Gladiator Mojave base, 40-inch tyres, Warn steel rims, and a 12,000lb-rated winch.
💙 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 Blueprint
Like a rolling Mopar catalogue, the Blueprint packs 35+ dealer accessories, including a snorkel, tube doors, high-top fenders, and a two-inch lift. It’s all wrapped in eye-popping Mopar Blue and black paint. If you want to know what’s possible with official Jeep accessories—this is your guide.
🛻 Jeep J6 Honcho Concept
This concept reimagines the Gladiator as a two-door pickup with a massive six-foot bed. It began life as a dual cab but was chopped and stretched to make something entirely new. Custom touches include a sport bar, LED-heavy front bar, and spare wheel mount—all drenched in retro truck attitude.
🧢 Gladiator High Top Honcho
A sequel to last year’s High Top, the 2025 Honcho Concept keeps the flat steel fenders and Dana 60 axles but adds bold ‘70s-inspired paint, white steel wheels, and a massive 40-inch tyre setup. It’s a vintage look with modern capability—classic meets combat-ready.
Jeep’s Vision, On Display
“The custom Jeep and JPP concepts we’ll unveil this year, along with unique immersive experiences, will once again demonstrate the Jeep brand’s unmatched off-road capability and underscore what it means to drive a Jeep,” said Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf.
The 2025 Easter Jeep Safari runs through April 20, giving enthusiasts a full week to drool over these one-offs in the red rocks of Utah. And while you won’t find these exact builds at your local showroom, many of the featured parts are or will be available via Jeep Performance Parts, giving you a taste of the wild right in your driveway.
