The 2023 Mahindra Scorpio It's a four-wheel-drive wagon with three rows of seating, room for six, a diesel donk under the bonnet, auto-locking rear diff, and a proper low-range transfer case, has now set a new record for crossing the Simpson Desert in an amazing time of 13 hours, 21 minutes and 5 seconds!

The family sized SUV crossed 1100 dunes of Australia's fourth-largest desert on the 16th of March 2023. This has been put in the Guinness World Records book for the “fastest crossing by a production vehicle”, a first for the title.
